Nepal

nepal travel in patan durbar square lalitpur

Nepal is a country where zebra crossings are decorations – and colorful prayer flags and buddhas are not. From the smoggy and busy streets of Kathmandu to the jungles and rhinos (or unicorns as I like to call them) of Chitwan and the snowy mountain peaks of the Himalayas, Nepal travel combines a connection with nature with the chaos of dusty streets and creative application of driving laws.

Where else in the world can you live your life greeting everyone with “Namaste” in a Yoga-like fashion while avoiding holes in the streets, dodging hanging cables and hopping over sleeping dogs?

When I'm not mulling over assignments, I'm on a hunt for the best pastries, finding hidden gems and people watch in chaotic squares. I've lived in five countries, explored over 70, and hiked more than 5,000 kilometers since I quit my full-time job in 2021. Read More…
